2010 TOURNAMENT RULES

  1. Fish must be taken from Essex County, Massachusetts waters; New Hampshire line to Lynn/Nahant
  2. Each entrant can enter only one category; Boat or Shore/Surf
  3. Boat fish must be 34 inches minimum length; Shore/Surf must be 30 inches minimum length
  4. Only the entrant can weigh in his/her fish and entry fish must be whole and freshly caught (NOT FROZEN).
  5. Entries limited to this tournament only. Two-inch sliver will be cut off tail at weigh-in.
  6. Weigh-ins must be made at designated stations.
  7. Each entrant can weigh in one fish per day (each successively larger).
  8. Entries must be accompanied by filled-out section of entry ticket. Weigh-in station operator will record length, weight, time, certify entry, and retain ticket.
  9. Each entrant is eligible for one prize only.
  10. Youth category open to boys and girls 15 years and under as of September 6, 2010.
  11. Ticket sales end Friday, September 3, 2010 at 9:00 p.m.
  12. Tournament weigh-ins entries accepted from 6:00 am on Saturday, September 4th until 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 6th.
  13. Decisions of Tournament Committee are final.
  14. Heaviest fish entered in each category wins grand prize. In the event of a tie, longest fish wins.

Sponsors, committee members and/or ticket agents will not be held liable for any damage or injury claims related to this tournament.
